Dr David Musoke
Dr David Musoke is a Lecturer at Makerere University School of Public Health, Uganda.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences from Makerere University, MSc in International Primary Health Care from University of London, and PhD in Public Health from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Part of his research is on environmental health (including water quality, sanitation and hygiene), diseases (such as malaria and cervical cancer), and health systems (including human resources for health particularly community health workers). His scholarly outputs to date include over 25 peer reviewed publications and 50 international conference presentations. Currently, he is Secretary of the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) Africa group, interim Chair of the Africa Academy for Environmental Health (AAEH), as well as Co-chair of the Health Systems Global Thematic Working Group on community health workers.
He is also a Senior Visiting Fellow at Nottingham Trent University (UK) as well as External Examiner at the University of Malawi and National University of Science and Technology (Zimbabwe).
