Professor Anne Katahoire
Anne Ruhweza Katahoire is a Medical and Social anthropologist.
She is a Professor based at the Child Health and Development Centre, a multidisciplinary research Centre in the School of Medicine, at Makerere University College of Health Sciences. She has over 20 years of experience in multidisciplinary research in health. She has been extensively engaged in research and evaluations in the areas of HIV/AIDS, children and adolescent health; women’s sexual reproductive health and school based health interventions.
She sits on several advisory committees in health representing the behavioural and social science disciplines. She is also a member of the Ugandan Advisory Board of the Antimicrobials in Society (AMIS) Program.
